Description

Bold, zesty, and packed with flavor, this homemade Cajun seasoning mix is my secret weapon for making any dish pop. Made with simple pantry staples, it’s completely customizable and free from sugar, salt, or preservatives, leaving you with pure, robust spices and a delicious taste.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon sweet paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons fine ground white pepper
  • 1 teaspoon fine ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon celery seed

Instructions

  1. Mix all of the ingredients together in a small bowl.
  2. Use immediately, or store in a sealed container for up to 1 year.

Notes

Love it extra spicy? Add more cayenne. Want a sweet and spicy taste? Add a pinch of brown sugar. Prefer a bit more garlic or need to add some salt to enhance the flavor? Go for it. This blend is yours to tweak as you see fit.

Storage containers: I use these magnetic spice jars in my kitchen but these customizable spice storage containers are a cute option too!
